Amidst the ongoing SPOCS football scouting program at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, drawing over 30 football clubs for a player showcase, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, popularly known as “Baba Abe,” the President of the Ibadan-based professional football club, Adeyemi FC, has rallied his players to maximize this golden opportunity.
In a statement signed by the club’s Media Officer, Mr. Olusola Alabi, “Baba Abe” emphasized that the scouting initiative is a crucial avenue for players to realize their dreams in the realm of football. He urged the players to showcase their skills, seize the moment, and prove themselves in the presence of scouts from Europe who are seeking top-tier talent.
Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi underlined his commitment to providing a brighter future for the players, stating that the scouting program is a gateway for them to make a global impact. He expressed confidence in the coaching crew, led by Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, and promised continuous efforts to create a conducive platform for the players.
The scouting program, spanning five days and initiated on November 24, is slated to conclude on November 28, 2023. The president eagerly awaits positive news emanating from the scouting sessions.
