Adeyemi Football Club showcased dominance as they secured a convincing 3-0 victory against De Pride FC on Monday in the Ibadan Football Council league qualifiers at Olubadan Stadium, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

Goals from Olawoye Abiodun in the 3rd and 64th minutes, along with Ajekiigbe Sunday’s contribution in the 13th minute, secured all the maximum points for the well-tutored side by Coach Drey.

Match Highlights:

In the 3rd minute, left-back, Ogundele Oluwadara, provided a beautiful assist to the versatile striker, Olawoye Abiodun, opening the scoresheet for Adeyemi FC.

With an early lead, Coach Drey’s side intensified their attacks, and Ajekiigbe Sunday took advantage of the opponent goalkeeper’s error to double the lead in the 13th minute. Adeyemi FC ended the first half with a 2-0 advantage.

Five minutes into the second half, a player from De Pride FC was sent off for a rough tackle against Muftau Faruq, giving Adeyemi FC total control in the midfield.

Ajekiigbe Sunday’s beautiful pass found Olawoye Abiodun, who scored his second goal of the match in the 64th minute, sealing the victory for Adeyemi FC.

Bello Opeyemi coordinated the defense effectively, ensuring Adeyemi FC secured 3 points without conceding.
