Adeyemi FC is back to base after the scouting tournament in Abuja… Shifts attention to the IFA league.

Players and officials of Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan left Abuja for Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, after a successful 5-day scouting program.

The Ibadan-based professional football club’s players and officials arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja at exactly 3 pm on Thursday, 23rd of November 2023 for a 5-day scouting program organized by the esteemed Sports Management Agency, SPOCS.

Speaking with the newsmen before departing Abuja, the head coach of the team, Kolawole Emmanuel, also known as coach “Drey” said participating in the scouting tournament was an eye opener to learn new things and it was a worthwhile experience.

‘We really experienced new things during the scouting program, and I’m very excited that our players displayed excellently, it’s a good exposure and a big task for our players, we also showcased what we have and what we are capable of. We appreciate the organizer for putting something great like that together to help the future stars’ Coach drey disclosed”

Coach Drey appreciated the efforts of the club’s president, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, also known as “Baba Abe” for always supporting the team anytime any day, he described the president as a solid backbone for the club.

He further said the team will now shift their focus on qualifying for the main tournament of the Ibadan Football Association league.

Adeyemi Football Club will start preparing for the Ibadan Football Association league qualifiers where they will face Winners FC, DE Pride FC, and others in group B.
