Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, widely known as “Baba Abe,” the president of Adeyemi FC, a professional football club based in Ibadan, urged the team’s players and officials to maintain focus and determination in striving for favorable outcomes.
During a monthly media chat held at the Club’s Secretariat in Oluyole, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, President Adeyemi stressed that achieving positive results is crucial for the club’s progress.
“I want to express my appreciation to the coaching staff, led by Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, and I commend the efforts of the players. However, it’s essential not to relent. I am continuously supporting you, and there should be no reason to give up. As always, deliver your best, and I will ensure your welfare is prioritized,” he stated.
Adeyemi reiterated the existence of numerous upcoming projects and encouraged all players to persevere, assuring them of a promising future.
Regarding the performance of the coaching staff, he urged them to maintain their impressive work and strive for further excellence.
In response, head coach Kolawole Emmanuel, also known as “Coach Drey,” expressed gratitude for the president’s unwavering support.
“We are fortunate to have a president who goes above and beyond for us. The level of our welfare in this team rivals that of NPFL sides, despite not yet participating in the Nigerian league. From players to officials and the media crew, everyone enjoys significant support from our president. We will not take this for granted and will continue to work hard for the club’s badge,” Coach Drey affirmed.
He assured the president that Adeyemi FC would uphold high standards and progress consistently.
Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan is currently competing in the ongoing Ibadan Football Council (IFC) league and is set to participate in upcoming tournaments.
