As Adeyemi Football Club scouting program hit Oke Ogun zone in Oyo State, coaches and sports stakeholders have applauded the initiative from the Ibadan-based professional football club.
While speaking, the leader of Iseyin local government coaches association, Coach Azeez Sulaiman Adebayo popularly known as “Coach Saba” commended the scouting program.
He said, “This is great, and we are delighted to have this kind of scouting event here in Oke Ogun zone. We commend the efforts of the President and the entire coaching crew of Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan. It is a great privilege for us here, and we still want to have more scouting programs like this’ ‘. Coach Saba disclosed.
He added that Oke Ogun is blessed with talented footballers, who will display what they are capable of during this scouting program.
On his part, the Head Coach of Adeyemi Football Club, Kolawole Emmanuel, also known as Coach Drey, appreciated Coach Azeez Sulaiman and assured him that Adeyemi FC will continue organizing something great at the grassroots level.
‘We won’t stop bringing something great to the grassroots level because we so much believe in raw talents and that is why we are here to scout for the future stars, let’s appreciate the club’s president, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi also known as ‘Baba Abe’ who has been showing wonderful support so far and creating a good platform for young ones to grow’. Coach Drey said.
Coach Kolawole Emmanuel advised all grassroots coaches in oke ogun zone to keep up the good work and urged them not to relent in grooming future stars.
Adeyemi FC scouting in oke ogun is still going on and coaches, players, including football lovers, are excited about the initiative.
