Ibadan, Nigeria – December 20, 2024
Borussia Dortmund football star Karim Adeyemi will visit Nigeria from December 23 to 27, 2024, as part of his annual trip organised by the Karim Adeyemi Foundation. This year’s visit, themed “Karim in Naija – A Legacy in Action,” will combine sports, humanitarian initiatives, and community empowerment in Ibadan. The foundation continues to leverage football as a catalyst for social change.
During the visit, Karim Adeyemi will participate in the following activities:
December 24: Adeyemi U-15 Tournament Finals in Ibadan and Courtesy visit to the Olubadan’s Palace and
December 25: The commissioning of key community projects in four communities in Ibadan, including Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives.
December 26: A tennis exhibition match with under 15 players showcasing his versatility and commitment to sports.
This visit marks the third consecutive year that Karim Adeyemi has given back to his fatherland, strengthening ties and inspiring local development. Fans are encouraged to share welcome messages using #WelcomeBackKarim.
Karim Adeyemi Foundation aims to create a lasting positive impact. “Access to clean water changes lives, and sports inspire greatness. My goal is to bring these together and make a difference,” said Karim Adeyemi.
