Adeyemi FC, a professional football club based in Ibadan, is gearing up for its inaugural appearance in the Oyo State Federation Cup as they prepare to face Achievers Football Academy in the first round on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024.
Currently active in the Ibadan Football Council (IFC) league, Adeyemi FC is preparing to broaden their horizons by joining the esteemed 2024 Oyo State Federation Cup.
Head Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, known as “Coach Drey,” has urged his players to approach the match with utmost seriousness and focus.
“This is a new challenge, an opportunity for us to showcase our abilities. As newcomers to the Oyo State Federation Cup, we must demonstrate our readiness. Let’s aim for victory and give our best performance,” Coach Drey emphasized.
Acknowledging the unwavering support of the club’s president, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, also known as “Baba Abe,” Coach Drey expressed confidence in the team’s ability to make their patron proud.
With thorough preparations underway, Adeyemi FC is poised to deliver a stellar performance in the upcoming competition.
The showdown between Adeyemi FC and Achievers Football Academy is scheduled to take place at the Olubadan Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State, kicking off at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
