The coaching crew of Adeyemi FC, have arrived Iseyin in Oyo State for their dynamic talent scouting initiative, aptly named ‘Operation Fish Out the Raw Talents’ within the Oke Ogun Zone.
The team’s esteemed head coach, Kolawole Emmanuel, renowned as Coach Drey, and his trusty 1st assistant coach, Dunmoye Olatunde, received a warm welcome from grassroots coaches in Iseyin, emphasizing the importance of their mission to discover future football stars.
Coach Drey articulated the purpose behind their visit, stating, “We are thrilled to be here and deeply appreciative of the warm reception from the local coaches. We have a clear purpose – to elevate the game from street soccer to a more expansive level. Our primary focus is to unearth potential football prodigies at the grassroots level. During our time in Oke Ogun Zone, we aim to identify and nurture talented footballers.”
He expressed confidence in the success of their mission, citing the excellent rapport they share with coaches in Iseyin and other regions within Oke Ogun. Furthermore, he revealed that the club has concrete plans to support players who meet the criteria for the program.
Coach Drey also emphasized the unwavering commitment of the club’s president, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, also known as “Baba Abe,” in investing in promising players and providing them with the best opportunities to excel in their football careers.
The Adeyemi Football Club talent scouting expedition is not confined to Iseyin alone; it extends to the entire Oke Ogun Zone within Oyo State, underlining the club’s dedication to uncovering budding football talents and nurturing their growth.
